Our Bookkeeper Mentoring Program helps you build a profitable and sustainable bookkeeping business, no matter your experience level. You will gain clarity on essential business foundations, attract and retain clients, and maintain ethical business practices. The program covers financial management, compliance, and effective workload strategies.

With expert guidance, you will have the tools and knowledge to grow a successful bookkeeping business.


In this intake, sessions are designed to guide you step-by-step, running from 10am to 11am on Tuesday mornings, every two weeks. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Understand the importance of having a clear vision, specific goals, and staying focused in making business decisions. Also, explore what defines your business identity in terms of vision, focus, and goals.

Session 2: Setting up your business (6 May)
Learn about essential systems, software, and technology to streamline your operations, including popular tools for bookkeepers. This covers tips on setting up internal systems, software, and your preferred tech stack.

Session 3: Smart pricing strategies (20 May)
Explore different pricing models (hourly, fixed, hybrid) and how to choose the right one based on your services and clients.

Session 4: Attracting new clients (3 June)
Learn effective techniques for attracting new clients to your bookkeeping business.

Session 5: Keeping clients engaged (17 June)
How to keep your new clients on as long-term ones.

Session 6: Ethical business practices (1 July)

Session 7: Client reviews and improvement (15 July)
Today, we'll be looking at how to go about conducting and analysing a client review. You’ll gain an understanding of what is involved and why this is an important part of running your business.

Session 8: Handling complex transactions (29 July)
Today, we'll be looking at how to go about undertaking complex bookkeeping transactions. You’ll gain an understanding of what is involved and when you need to seek expert help.

Session 9: Managing Workload (12 August)
Today, we'll be looking at how to manage workload with effective techniques and strategies. You’ll gain an understanding of how to fit your business purpose to working in a sustainable and holistic way.

Session 10: Implementing best practices (26 August)
Today we are examining what Best Practice actually IS, and how this can be built into your workflows and way of working, along with aligning to your own values and ethics. This combines your knowledge from the previous sessions to give you confidence demonstrating that you are a Best Practice Bookkeeper!
